Bead Soup Update

I received my beads from Jean a few weeks ago. I LOVE them. Its a good thing we have until March 3rd because I am blocked. I don't know what to do with the beads. Last bead soup party I made a necklace and a pair of earrings. this time I want to make a necklace and a bracelet. Jean told me that the same day she got the beads I sent her she already made something with them.  I can't wait to see. Don't worry Lori, we are waiting til March :)

Here is what Jean sent me!

sooo pretty... Wish me luck :)

New Tree of Life pendent and.....

a custom Peruvian String Art Pendent.

I had a little give away last night on my FB fanpage . The winner, Michele Malone won a custom string art pendent. She asked for yellow and green thread. So that is what she got.
Michele's review:
" I received the pendant I won from you today, & I love it! Not only will it be beautiful around my neck, but I think it would look really nice in my hair as well. Thank you again. :D "

( no idea how is going to wear it in her hair.. I asked her to send me a picture :)

And I made ANOTHER Tree of Life pendent.... but this time I used clear glass chips.

My New Years resolutions

Happy New Year Everyone!!

I always seem to abandon my resolutions. They aren't hard to keep , I just get a tad lazy, lol.
This year I have set only a few resolutions, the usual weight lose, like everyone else. I really hope I will be successful. Dont worry I will not annoy you with my progress blogs.
The next involves my family. I miss the closeness. With my mother being sick (  Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Cancer ) I believe we should all be there for each other, though it seems to me that not every one seems to have the concern about her health as I, my stepdad , my brother and nephews do. It makes me mad at times. But I cant worry about that. I want to spend more time with my nephews... they will be 17 and 15 this March. Where did the time go.
As with any business owner , I wish to make my tiny business as successful as it can be. Let the creativeness flow easily.
And last but not  least... my last resolution is my faith. I will be  bring the Lord more into my life because it seems I may need him alot more this year.

E is for

Erin's Jewelry Creations :)

Hey thats me !

for this blog , i thought i would tell you all about myself  and my lil business.
I am 30 years old. youngest of 3. I have 2 older brothers.. by older i mean 37 and 40 in November. i have 2 teenage nephews. no kids of my own, yet. I was born and raise in Attleboro , MA. live in Florida for a few years. my mom is still down there... shes going on 11 years there. I have a wonderful boyfriend who supports my creativeness, i wish his wallet did too.....lol he's a gamer, i'm a crafter.... i think we are a good match...LOL :)
I've been making and selling jewelry for about 4.5 years. when i was a little girl i made this  necklace with a shell and 2 purple beads on each end which was strung on to a gold chain my mom gave me... i still have that necklace. when i was a teenager i made lanyard bracelets just for fun. learned how to to do that one summer at the small park /zoo near my home. a lady was teaching crafts every tuesday in the  summer for the kids. i think it was just me and my younger cousin for that lesson.
I once made friendship bracelets for a company. then i got into making hemp necklaces.
when i was 26, i was browsing through profiles on myspace and noticed a jewelry page. this woman had amazing pieces. after finding out that the bracelet i saw and wanted was $30 i decided to try and make one myself. so i bough a basic how to booklet and the materials i would need. the bracelet i made wasn't exact since i didnt know where shes got the beads. the one i made come out just as nice and cost less the $30 in supplies. it was more like $15( gotta love Walmart, lol )
I had so much fun making that bracelet i decide to try earrings. then i was buying $100 worth of beads, etc, in one visit to Walmart (less expensive). and the rest is history. :)

E is also for EARRINGS!!! click here  to see all the earrings .
