I've been thinking about raising the price of my jewelry. if people who put no effort in to their designs charge $30 for a necklace made with just beading wire and a glass bead why can't i charge $20 for a necklace that was worked on for more than 3 seconds =) but my necklaces haven't been selling for even $13 -$15 =( . so i dont know what to do...... any advice about pricing?

Etsy Chat forum.. Trade room

I have to say that I LOVE the trade room in the etsy chat forum. I've gotten some cool stuff. one time I spent 3 hours in that room talking to people and trading . One trading buddy is in Rhode Island. Since i am in Massachusetts we get our trades the day after we send them :) I trade mostly for pendents or something I can reuse to make jewelry.

New Soaps

I just made a mold to make my new Inspirational Soaps. the mold is 4 1/4" x 2 1/2". i had to make it because there was no way i was going to pay for the crazy shipping. and the molds i was looking at were too small. when all else fails, do it your self :)
my new molds are going to have inspirational quotes. the clear soap will be on top and the white soap will be on the bottom with the vellum quotes in the middle. i have 13 soap packs of 3. below are the quotes- as is. they are $6 for 3. hopefully i will have a bunch made soon. click here to go to my Etsy shop.

I sold a bar of soap last night....lol ive done it b4 ... but i have a new etsy shop so its exciting. i wish she would of bought more. i think i am under selling my soaps. i want to be less expensive that everyone else so ppl will buy from me and not them. 

i hope i can make some money soon so i can buy some more soap base. thats is like the most IMPORTANT  ingredient when making soap....lol

...........the reopening of my Etsy shop. i forgot i had an active one. I renamed it Handmade Soaps or BUST!!! I am mostly selling my Bath and Body products that i make.  i love doing it. i make scrubs, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, massage oils, lip balms, bubble bath, bath jelly,  items for    dog, woman , man and child. everything is   made when ordered. all products are made    with natural ingredients, no chemicals.
